Dr. DiSalvo had the opportunity to visit CNN headquarters in downtown Atlanta in October 2010 to introduce the growBot Garden project and answer some questions.

This video was produced in December 2010 by Laura Fries as a concept pitch, introducing the concept of robotics intervening in small scale agriculture. This video was shown at the Georgia Tech Digital Media Demo Day in December and May 2010, and ran on a loop during our exhibition at the 2010 Georgia Organics Conference in Athens, Georgia.

This video was produced in October 2009 by Laura Fries as a concept pitch, introducing the concept of robotics intervening in small scale agriculture to the Fall 2009 session of the Public Design Workshop. This quick lo-fi project was the beginning of the growBot Garden project as we know it today, as the student idea morphed into the focus of the project studio in 2010.
